Before pococo, Joe Horton spent two decades at Asurion, the last five as a Director in Tokyo. The work was cross-functional change programs: platform migrations, tier-one OEM partnership launches, and process redesign. That redesign ran across procurement, planning, quality, manufacturing operations and finance. None of it came with direct authority, so it ran on understanding what each team needed. He also built the reporting and automation that turned day-long manual work into scheduled minutes, years before today's AI tools.
Fourteen of those years were spent in Japan: Japanese business culture, supply-chain operations, regulatory engagement, and working across two languages every day. pococo is where that operational judgment meets AI-native building.
